Day 7
The Reason For Everything
By creating man in his own image, the whole earth receives testimony of God and mankind. This doesn't make sense to most people, as many will place themselves at the center of the universe, making of themselves a God. Of course, it then follows that such a lesser God wouldn't conceive that he. The world would benefit merely by the presence of his Putting all of God's testifying majesty of creation, the stars, the mountains, the birds in flight, song, etc., what would bear greater testimony to the glory of God than his own likeness? What then can we do in response to acknowledging that we are image bearers of the Most High King of all glory and Creator of the universe? We returned to Him what is already His- all glory and majesty and praise. It all belongs to Him. When the Pharisees said to Jesus “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples.” After they had begun to praise Him saying, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord. Peace in heaven and glory in the highest.” Jesus answered and said “I tell you, if these were silent, the stones will cry out!” Luke 19:37-40. Do you think the earth doesn't take note of God's glory, or that our responsibility to bear His image is not known to God? We were created to reflect God's glory and give Him glory. The Lord is deserving of all praise. And should we fail, the earth will yet testify to His Majesty. Then one day before God's thrown, we all account for leaving the lesser of His creations to accomplish the purpose for which we were created.
