The following categories of resources are updated regularly.
Updated regularly with content progressing through the Bible, beginning with Genesis and continuing through Revelation. Each page in the Bible menu for this site has been assembled for a specific purpose - to motivate and encourage engagement with God's Word. Individual pages are mobile responsive and text copy/share friendly to encourage others with a Bible insight or reflection, along with the Scripture passage referenced. Some will have an associated image. Some will be for entire chapters, while others will break chapters down into smaller sections. The idea is to have a daily section of Scripture for a group or partner to read together and comment on for study and meditation. There are 66 total books in the Bible and 1,189 chapters. We won't usually make an update on Sundays, so it is easy to see that this journey will have taken several years by the time we've gone through the entire Bible. I hope you will join us.
Topical meeting notes for a discipleship strategy that brings followers of Christ to a deeper understanding of the purposes God has for our lives. These notes guide an accountability covenant partnership for others to benefit from, sharing all that God has revealed to our group in our time of fellowship and growth together. Topics for this plan include the Gospel, Covenant, Prayer, Church Attendance, Witnessing, Tithing, Fasting, Making Demands of God, Anger, Academic Stewardship, Intimacy with God, and many more. We continue to add to this list as we continue to meet and grow in obedience to the Great Commission from Matthew 28:19-20
While there are various references available to identify where the Gospels deliver parallel accounts of the life of Christ, this material is purposed to highlight where these parallel accounts differ or add to the content of another Gospel. This is not to suggest argument or disagreement among these Gospel authors, but rather to allow each to add content, perspective, location, details, etc., to each passage in a way that expands our understanding of what happened while Christ walked among us.
As God continues to speak, this is one of the means by which He has allowed those conversations to become material others can share in and use for their own growth or instruction to others.
Not everything gets added here. Some things in my journal are personal and not for sharing on the internet. However, I will share my responses to Bible study or devotional books whenever possible. I will strive to ensure these are worthy of inclusion in anyone else's personal journey through these same books. The notes included, for now, are responses to Forty Days on the Mountain by Stephen Smallman, A Man of Purpose and Power by Dr. Myles Munroe, and The Purpose-Driven Life by Rick Warren.
